courtney sharos

Courtney Sharos (b.1996) is a Post Graduate Irish artist, based in Co.Limerick. She recently received a BA Honors Degree in Sculpture and Combined Media, in Limerick School of Art and Design. (2017)

Sharos’ work focuses on installation and performance based discipline. She creates abstract objects which refer to the body, combining materials that have restrictive and flexible qualities, and their correlative performative actions. Masculine and Feminine energy are represented in Sharos’ work in narratives of struggle and liberation.
