Since then he has gone on to showcase work with Spacecraft studios, curated for the Belltable and Limetree multiple times and produced the documentary ‘Its Started on The Streets’ (Awarded Best Midwest Short Film at the Richard Harris International Film Festival 2021).

Recently, Hartigan’s work looks to explore feelings of melancholy, angst and loneliness, through the media of painting and photography. Oftentimes his work is composed of a single isolated figure, one who may gaze directly at the viewer, away or at the ground. Through composition, light and colour he tries to express feelings and emotions we all share, but may find it hard to express, preferring people to take their own meaning and symbolism from his work.
